Course designed for Workplace Antigen Testing and also for School Antigen Screening of students.

What is the purpose of the Training Course?

Onsite Diagnostics' COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Workplace Screening Test Course has been developed to assist workplaces, schools and institutions to conduct Covid-19 Rapid Antigen testing in a safe, accurate and legal manner to minimise the potential of a Covid outbreak.

Previously workplaces were required to have a Health Practitioner carry out/oversee the testing. With the approval of the Covid-19 Rapid Antigen Self-tests workplaces, schools and other institutions are now able to test their employees and site attendees using TGA approved Covid-19 Rapid Antigen Self-tests.

Sites for Rapid Antigen Testing

Covid-19 Rapid antigen testing is designed to be done in a range of sites including non-clinical and clinical settings such as construction sites, educational institutions, fixed and temporary community-based sites, aged care residential facilities and commercial businesses such as food production sites.

Industries and schools can implement rapid antigen testing screening or may engage a third-party provider to manage this process.

In this training module we teach general procedures for how to implement a program, how to set-up your test site, how to correctly use a Covid-19 Antigen testing device, how to interpret test results and report them to the authorities required under law.

The unit COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Workplace Screening Test Course is a comprehensive pathology based training course provided in laymans terms, available via distance/online learning.
